Take this Paul Smith cardigan for instance. The main thing we like about this cardigan is that the pattern doesn’t half step. And if you’re not up on your Big Daddy Kane, what we mean is that it’s a full on, all over pattern. None of this ‘just the chest’ business here. The Audi R8 ranks among the fastest cars you're likely to see on the road, but the German automaker isn't about to rest on its proverbial laurels. After the V8 version came the 5.2-liter V10, and while the turbo-diesel V12 TDI version never made it past the concept stage, Audi has tantalized the torque-happy alternative-energy crowd with the e-tron concept.
Based on the R8 and unveiled last week in Frankfurt, the e-tron replaces the gasoline-burning engine in the existing supercar with no less than four electric motors and an enormous lithium-ion battery pack to supply it with juice. The result? A relatively modest 313 horsepower, but an absolutely bonkers 3,319 lb-ft of torque. And no, that's not a typo: it really does have more than ten times the torque of most of the cars. Infinite Hope by Quinn Gregory, made from 250,000 Swarovski crystals.
"'Infinite Hope' is a sculpture I made primarily of wood, foam and crystals. Through research, I learned that Jesus was 5'3' tall (which made him actually a tall Jewish man at that time). I used cooper tubing to make his 5'3'' skeleton and then built from there. After sealing the sculpture, I utilized a metallic paint to give Jesus a metal look (thus avoiding the weight of a metal sculpture- while achieving the look I desired). The actual sculpting portion of this work took 4 1/2 months to complete. I then spent the past 10 months encrusting Jesus with almost 250,000 Swarovski crystals. "

Despite 2 apologetic statements and a moment of regret on the new Jay Leno television show this evening, denouncements and outcries continue to flood in on Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, forums, and other social media over Kanye West’s on stage interruption during Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech on last night’s 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. Several are even capitalize on the moment, such as t-shirt maker Tee Fury and graphic artist Hydro74 (aka Joshua Smith).

The initial idea for the t-shirt came as a joke on Hydro74’s Twitter entry. Tee Fury saw the potential to make a witty statement on the whole fiasco and decided to create a t-shirt on it. However, as in Tee Fury project t-shirt, the Hydro74 - Kanye Doesn’t Care About Taylor T-Shirt will only be available for sale for the next 24 hours. Part of his recent ongoing Color Studies series, Olaf Breuning's current exhibit in Los Angeles' Michael Benevento Gallery uses sculpture and photography as vehicles for luminous basic colors, offsetting them with deep black and bright white surfaces to striking effect.

A multiple-room exhibit, Breuning painted the gallery's first room entirely black, making the photographs depicting bright paint poured onto human figures appear to float in space. Sculptures with amoeba trails of paint challenge the horizontal and vertical forms.

A powerful contrast to the dark interior, the white room takes the mixture of color to a different extreme with photos of purposefully imprecise grids and lines. Breuning's gorgeously organic imagery pushes the concept to playfully explore the fundamentals of color and form.

So like I'll say almost a month ago I went to NY to see My family from my dads side and to see my cousin that I haven't seen since diapers basically and my cousin is basically doing big things.

"A freelance artist is suing New York University, saying her alma mater's famous bobcat mascot is really just a copycat.

Ariel Fleurimond says the mascot NYU unveiled in 2008 and began plastering on apparel, memorabilia, posters, its Web site and even the gymnasium floor is a design she created at the request of the associate athletic director.

"I definitely feel like I was taken advantage of," Fleurimond, 22, told the Daily News.

In a copyright infringement suit filed in Long Island Federal Court, she is seeking unspecified monetary damages from NYU.

Lawyer Mona Conway said her client may be entitled to millions in royalties.

Fleurimond says she was a psychology major working as an equipment room clerk in the athletic department in 2007 when associate director Noah Lefebre asked her to create a feline mascot.

Starting with a generic-looking cat, Fleurimond scratched out numerous drawings, refining the character until she finally came up with a cartoon cougar she called "Orion."

She submitted the character and waited for approval.

Last summer, she says she got the shock of her life when she walked into the gym and spotted her cougar painted on the hardwood floor.

Fleurimond's copyrighted cougar and NYU's bobcat look exactly alike, the suit claims.

"I trusted my school and didn't think they would treat one of their students like this," Fleurimond said.

Conway filed the lawsuit after NYU's legal department took the position that Fleurimond had been compensated for her work in the athletic department.

"She was paid to pick up dirty towels," Conway said.

NYU spokesman John Beckman call the suit baseless.

"It's a pity that a court's time is being taken up with a case so lacking in merit," he said. "We fully expect to prevail."
